Nathalie Aron also known on Instagram as Voyage Fox is a lifestyle and travel blogger/content creator from Germany. We spoke to Nathalie about her love for travel, translating her passion through photography and online content alongside more.
LS: Has travel always been something that you were passionate about from an early age or rather something you began to become more interested in as time went on?
I was always fascinated by far away places and loved to look through travel magazines as a teenager. When I met my now husband we started to travel a lot due to the sole reason that he‘s an expert in finding travel deals and how to save money via using flight miles & hotel points. That's how this passion started!
At the beginning we did everything just for fun & to share our insights with friends and family. Slowly more & more people started to like our photos
LS: What interests you most about travelling and what motivates you to document your journey?
NA: We love to explore new places - not just the landscapes but also the culture, people, cuisines and everything else that comes along with visiting a new country. It's already taught us so much about our lives and I hope that sharing all of this with my followers gives them the same feeling!
LS: Do you remember the initial point of when you realised the potential possibilities that could come from creating content (When you began to take creating content more seriously?)
NA: At the beginning we did everything just for fun to share our insights with friends and family. Slowly more and more people started to like our photos - which we were still taking with our phones back then - and followed my account.
Before we did our first around-the-world-trip back in 2017 we thought: Why don't we get a camera and try to make all of this a bit more professional. Who knows where it might take us...
LS: Your content on your Instagram feed is breath-taking from the Photography all the way to the editing, How has the shooting and editing style changed within your content over time?
NA: Thank you! Well it changed a lot! My husband is the photographer of all our shots and I do the editing. We both had no idea what we were doing at the beginning but simply started and practiced. It was all a process of learning by doing - you can still see the process of the development if you scroll down my feed to the very beginning. I never delete any of the older pictures because I like to scroll down to them and see our transformation!

LS: From your travels so far what has been the most photogenic place you’ve visited? And what about it made it so visually pleasing?
NA: That‘s a difficult question! We personally love to photograph sceneries with a stunning backdrop that’s why we loved traveling and shooting in Peru so much: You can find so many insane landscapes within the country and some of my most viral shots have been taking there too! Some more of our highlights are Hawaii, Jordan and French Polynesia!
LS: You’ve done an incredible job of intertwining creativity and travel to produce the content you put out, what do you feel is the most important aspect of imagery when shooting travel/location based photography?
I will let my husband answer the question since he’s the photography expert - The most important thing is to create a nice composition from the background to the object/subject you want to photograph for example, It’s important that the object isn’t covering any main parts of the background. To create some depth it’s nice to add a foreground like flowers or plants which aren’t in focus. Over time I developed an eye for photography which gives me a good feeling of which perspective would look the best.

LS: From your travelling experience what’s one country/city that has left the longest lasting impact on yourself?
NA: One place on earth that will forever be my favourite place to travel back to is Hawaii! The islands are all magical in their very own way and they're so different from each other! We really left our heart in Hawaii and that’s why we decided to get married here in 2018!
LS: What advice would you give to someone wanting to travel full time and create content around it?
BK: I would suggest to start creating content in your own backyard first to get a feeling for it. At the beginning it’s hard to travel around full-time because you need an independent income first. What we did before that was save our money for our travels and headed somewhere new whenever we had the time for it. This also could have been small weekend trips or bigger travels when we found great travel deals!
It all takes a lot of time to develop the skills and especially to grow on Instagram but consistency and high quality content is the key.
